Week 2 - Thursday, July 2nd - #4 Class - Homework
Continue finishing maquettes and photographing them.
Photograph your characters for the line up. I'd like this to be fairly tight.
Use line up photos to create a new line up of your main characters (showing front, back and side view of each character)
Make 5 copies of this new line up and do color studies
Continue working on your storyboards - start using the actual templates. If the template dimensions are different from your book, create a custom template. Apply your favorite/key layouts and work off of them.
LOOK AT BOOKS - Choose two books which have the color palette you think you will use
Choose colored pencils which reflect those color palettes
Read Chapter 3 of Perry Nodelman: "Style as Meaning"
Bring in your color swatches
* Continue reading assigned texts
